Meet the Founder — Rachid Khouri (CAD and AutoLISP Expert)
CADforMac.com was founded by Rachid Khouri, a CAD professional, Autodesk Authorized Developer, trainer, and technical author with more than 30 years of hands-on experience in computer-aided design.
With a background in Computer Engineering, Rachid began working with AutoCAD in 1992. Since then, he has developed extensive expertise in CAD management, software customization, AutoLISP and Visual LISP programming, CAD automation, and professional technical training.
Throughout his career, he has designed and developed specialized CAD applications for various industries, including electrical schematic design and symbol libraries, surveying and topography, architecture, interior design, and engineering. His work has focused on developing practical tools that automate repetitive tasks, improve drawing accuracy, standardize workflows, and increase productivity in professional CAD environments.
As an experienced CAD educator and technical author, Rachid has also created numerous technical training manuals, instructional video courses, and online training programs, helping students, CAD technicians, designers, engineers, and industry professionals develop practical skills in AutoCAD and related technologies.
He was also the founder of Canada CAD, a CAD training center established in Québec, Canada, as well as the Canadian CAD Academy, dedicated to delivering professional online training in CAD software, customization, and automation.
In addition, Rachid founded CADauthority.com and LISPauthority.com, an independent resources covering CAD software, CAD library (dwg, Autolisp, Visual Lisp, DCL, ActiveX technologies).
Drawing on decades of real-world experience in CAD application development, customization, and technical education, Rachid established CADforMAC.com to share practical CAD for Mac knowledge, AutoCAD mac tips, reliable programming techniques, downloadable tools, and proven solutions to real CAD automation challenges.
