My name is Rachid Khouri, and I’ve been passionate about CAD for more than 30 years. I am a CAD engineer, CAD Manager, Developer, Autodesk Authorized Author, Corporate Trainer, and Instructor.
A Career Dedicated to CAD
My journey began in 1992, when I first discovered AutoCAD version 10. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with several companies and design offices as a draftsman, CAD manager, and developer of CAD applications and software.
In 1999, I took a major step forward by founding a training school in Quebec, Canada, where I provided hands-on education for students and professionals on Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, 3ds Max, and 3ds Max Design. By 2006, I had expanded into the online space, launching AutoCAD courses that reached hundreds of beginners and professionals around the world.
Why CADforMac.com Exists
After more than three decades of experience as a trainer and developer, I noticed something missing: a dedicated, comprehensive resource specifically tailored to AutoCAD for Mac users. Most tutorials and guides were focused on Windows users, leaving Mac professionals underserved.
That is why I created CADforMac.com — a project close to my heart and years in the making. This site is designed to be the ultimate portal for AutoCAD Mac users, offering a single place to:
- Find answers to your AutoCAD Mac questions
- Access detailed tutorials and step-by-step guides
- Prepare for job interviews with CAD-related Q&As
- Test your skills with quizzes and challenges
- Learn AutoCAD Mac for free through structured lessons
- Download useful resources such as manuals, blocks, hatches, AutoLISP routines, and more
And yes — most of these resources are available completely free of charge.
Welcome to My World
